Cutting back and quitting bring on generally a lot of aches and pains
for several reasons. Smoking for one numbs pain to some degree that we
arent aware of pains we had. And when we quit, we are stresse out and
we tense up and that brings on aches and pains too. And cutting back
is worse than quitting believe it or not. ITs a lesson in futility.
You cut back to 10 cigs a day and I bet you you are going thru immense
anxiety before you can have your next cig. You just can't wait until
tht time comes and when you finished your cig , its damm I can't have
another one for 2 hours or so. Thats excrutiating mental stress pain.
Whats sad about that is you get tired of doing that and you just go
back to what your body is used to having. Its saying gimme my hit! I
am going to get it one way or the other.
Don't get me wrong, it is better physically to cut back the use of
nicotine but its much , much harder that way than just ourright
quitting all together.
Work toword that goal, come to a lot of meeings and read the posts and
dont go away and the miracle will happen
