Looking more deeply into this tradition, we cannot be totally self-supporting without each of us contributing service to our group, intergroup, and World Services. Service is not only one of the tools of personal recovery; it is the life blood for our entire fellowship. If we only take from the fellowship, we no longer make a fellowship.

Thank you, Solvejg, for YOUR service to our Fellowship!
I especially like the reminder of the above......the reminder that it is not only important to the Group that we EACH be of service, but it is also important to the INDIVIDUAL.
Being of service can be taking on many functions, or it can be as IMPORTANT as welcoming a newcomer to the group, or encouraging a troubled member....or being present in a meeting to share experience, strength, and hope.
Being of service has many faces, and ALL are important. Together, WE can do this.:o)
