Here are the announcements and upcoming events for March 2005:

I am excited to announce that the VOICES Association has been chosen
to receive the 2005 Public Service Award from the California Speech-
Language Hearing Association for our efforts to help children with
communication disorders and their families. This is indeed an honor
and we are very humbled to be recognized with this award! The award
will be presented to VOICES at the CSHA Annual Association Dinner
this April in Santa Clara during the CSHA annual conference. I want
to thank everyone that has been involved with VOICES..all the
professional and parent volunteers…this award belongs to all of

Our first annual Professional Advisory Board Luncheon will be held
on March 12, 2005 in Torrance California from 12 to 2pm. The theme
for this year is Bridging the Gap Between the Educational and
Medical Sides to Communication Disorders. If you would like more

Production for the VOICES cable access show, 1 2 3 Talk has
currently begun! This show will be part public access broadcast,
part internet broadcast dedicated to speech and language and related
issues. We are really excited about the show! If you're
