KEEP CALLING YOUR SENATORS ABOUT ALL IDEA ISSUES!!! 

Yesterday Our Children Left Behind sent out an alert stating that S.1248 is
on line for Senate action in the very near future.  We stated in the alert that
no amendments would be permitted regarding short term objectives or
discipline.  We since have learned that the S.1248 unanimous consent resolution
permits
Senator Kennedy or his designee to introduce "IDEA relevant" amendments, and
that theoretically the topic of short term objectives and/or discipline could
be included.  We are trying to verify whether or not the Senator or his
designee actually intends to introduce amendments on these subjects.  We will
let
you know what we learn.
