The author found that by taking Purple Monkey Flower, her block
around giving a particular attunement was dissolved. Since that time,
this experience has transformed her practice.
Continuing on the theme of ethicals within the field, we have an
article about navigating issues around diluting commercially-available
essences, linked below.
Did you know there are ethical and unethical ways in which
essences may be diluted and given or sold to someone who did not
purchase the original stock essences? That there are ways in which
those who dilute and sell essences could be breaking the law -- or
several laws, for that matter? This article is meant to help raise
readers' awareness about these issues.

Buying Essences at the Stock vs. Dosage--Which are You
Getting?
What's the difference between a stock level flower essence
remedy, and a dosage bottle of that remedy? Which is preferable... and
do you know which you are purchasing when you buy an essence?

There are several different ways that people do "flower
essence readings." These are widely varied in method. I've
developed an approach I refer to as "flower essence story
telling." This article describes how it's done, plus it documents
an example of how one such case unfolded.

The other day I asked my guidance for a flower essence that might
help me with my tendency towards mood swings these days. You know, I'm
like everybody else. I watch the news on television, look at what I
think I might need to do to make it in today's economy and think
"oh, crap!" I was guided to was Red Clover. What a
great choice!

Although a broad range of emotions is possible, most of us
experience and express a very narrow range. Many negative emotions
torment us persistently are bad habits we learned very early. We are
no longer conscious of why they arose, so these tapes switch on
automatically in stressful situations. In a crisis, we play the same
tapes, only louder. Your own habits may not be so extreme, but most of
us have a small repertoire of feelings that get triggered repeatedly.
Here are some techniques that can help you stop falling into negative
patterns, along with flower essences to help shed these habits.
Building on last week's post about testing a lilac essence, this
week's post is about using a research essence to help during a
crisis. http://www.FlowerEssenceMagazine.com for the latest article.

Plume Poppy -- a research essence -- proved just the ticket when
the author had a personal crisis and had trouble finding an essence
that would give her enough help.

A Warrior instinctively know he/she needs to respond to change,
and knows that not every one demands a response. The right response
begins with a decision: to act or to wait...It takes courage, focus,
strategy, intuition and vision to be a Warrior carving out his or her
own path. The phrases "fighting the good fight" and
"walking our talk" apply here; these are the struggles which
make us grow and strengthen us. We become more than we have
been.

The World Wide Web as a Healing Tool-Evoking the Essence of
Essences
By Donna Cunningham, MSW
http://www.floweressencemagazine.com/blog/?p=373
As the work of Vibration Magazine, the flower essence
ezine, unfolded and continued to develop, we slowly understood that,
far from being a magazine devoted only to tracking the healing
potentials of the flower essences, we were also beginning to tap into
a vast, unsuspected resource--the healing power of the internet
itself. In this first of two parts, we discuss how the
internet allowed us to develop new tools through use of powerful art,
plant attunements, and color healing.

When Intuition Calls -- What Pine Taught Me
http://www.floweressencemagazine.com/blog/?p=336
by Connie Barrett
Clearly, my life would have gone more smoothly had I listened to
my intuition on that fateful day. By blaming myself for not listening,
though, I made the mistake that parents often make in raising their
children. In trying to turn their offspring away from wrongdoing,
parents may also turn children away from taking the risk of deciding
what's uniquely right for them. They may stop paying attention to
their inner voice...
