The Velcro Kangaroos are a group of Yonder Mountain String Band fans who choose to remain drug and alcohol free. We neither condemn nor condone the use of drugs and alcohol, as we have absolutely no opinion on this issue. We are not affiliated with YMSB, NA, AA, or any other 12 step, or clean and sober fan group. We are a group of friends sharing a common bond with a primary purpose to make ourselves available at YMSB shows. We provide information, support, and fellowship to those who seek the comfort and camaraderie of other clean and sober people. The only requirement for membership is the desire to stay substance free. Though the Velcro Kangaroos consist primarily of those recovering from various addictions, we are open to anyone who wishes to remain clean and sober at shows. We can be found by locating the yellow balloons and the Velcro Kangaroos information table at YMSB shows- one show at a time!
