The Islamic Medical Association (IMA) at Virginia Commonwealth University/Medical College of Virginia is affiliate student chapter of the Islamic Medical Association of North America (See www.imana.org).

We provide a platform for and students and physicians to discuss issues and share ideas relevant to the care, needs, and sensitivities of patients and health-care providers. IMA members enrich their professional knowledge and learn about the theory and practice of Islamic medical ethics. IMA membership is open to all practicing health-care providers and future health-care providers.
