This group is designed for men whose partners suffer from vaginismus. Vaginismus is defined as the "persistent or recurrent difficulties in allowing vaginal entry of a phallus, finger or any object, despite the woman's expressed wish to do so (Basson, 2005)." This forum provides a space for men to discuss their experiences and to provide/obtain information.

This group is neither maintained nor run by licensed therapists or physicians. Rather, it is meant to be a resource for men to learn how to understand and support the women in their lives who struggle with this condition.

For the sake of privacy, only members can read and post messages. Subscriptions must be approved, and are limited to those whose partners suffer from this condition. This is not meant to exclude people, but to ensure an environment which permits a free and open discussion of this topic.
