WELCOME TO VACO

We are a small, but very caring group who are here to support and help ladies who have been through Vulval - Vulvar Cancer, Radical Vulvectomy, Groin node dissecton, VIN,Pagets Disease of the vulva, Vulva surgery, Laser, Vaginal Cancer, Also HPV related cancers. We understand the traumatic impact this can have on your lives.

We are here to help ladies deal with the emotional trauma and stress this type of diganosis and surgery causes. Only we who have been down this devasting road can truly understand each others true feelings, anxieties and fears. We also offer practical help.

Please join us if you are going through this trauma you do not need to be alone any more. There are so many ladies on the group who are all so very supportive and understanding of what you have been through and we can all help, support and resassure you that how you may be feeling right now is normal for what you have been through and things will get better with time.

We have all decided that no longer will we be kept quiet about this "Rare Cancer" and all the other "Vulval Diseases" because no one wants to discuss them due to the sensitivity of them. We at VACO do not believe that any Vulva problem is too sensitive and should be brought out and discussed with ladies all over the UK.

We all feel that ladies should be warned about all of these conditions, it is called "Awareness" and this promotes "Prevention" so we at VACO are campaigning for this rare cancer to be more widely recognised in the UK.

We do not allow lurkers on the group, so if this is your sole intention of wanting to join the group, then this is not the group for you.

We believe in mutual support and supporting each other on this group. This is what our group was set up for. We all believe in supporting each other.
