I'm sorry for the delay in responding, Nancy, I've been "a bit under the
weather" and am just now starting to feel better. I can't begin to express my
joy
in learning that I have inspired you to pick up the hook to crochet a special
hat for your sister's birthday! I am sure, as she runs her fingers over the
stitches, the fabric you created out of love, that she will think of you and
the fabric between you called sisterly love. She will cherish it for sure!

Should you hit any speed bumps in your crochet adventures, Nancy, please feel
free to contact me. BTW, my crochet group donated 95 chemo hats a few weeks
back to our local cancer center; they were very happy to get them! I'm sure
your cancer center will too!
