I have an absolute phobia of sloths. I have no clue why. I know
they're not gonna hurt me or anything like that. I've never seen one
in person. If I see a picture of one or see one on TV it's instant
panic. I have tried to cure myself by prolonging exposure to pictures
and such, but I end up getting really nauseous and crying and it's just
too much stress for me to handle. It's the strangest phobia I've ever
heard of and I think some of my friends think I'm making it up to be
quirky or something. But just tonight I started searching the internet
for sloth phobias and I saw about three other people on various message
boards with the same fear! I had always thought I was the only one! I
also saw that it had already been submitted on the unusal phobias
website. It makes me feel better to know I'm not alone. Is there
anyone else on here who has a sloth phobia? Maybe we can talk about it
and try to figure it out!
