I actually have 2 friends who have this problem. One of them is so bad
you can not touch her neck at all, she tries not to even touch her
neck. For myself, I do not like people wrapping their arms around my
neck because I fear they will choke me. This goes for even the
smallest of loose wrapping of arms or even shirts with collars that go
too high and scarves. I am happy that you are able to wear carves even
with your phobia.
But you are not alone.
