LOL, I agree, imagine spending a night in the Tower of London or
somewhere like that, I'd be suffering serious trauma if that was me.
Seriously though, I think being scared of ghosts is rational, you
can't explain them, you can't get to know them and there are plenty
of stories of people not having nice encounters with ghosts. I'm not
exactly thrilled with them either.
You can do exposure therapy through your imagination so,
theoretically, if your phobia was something intagible you could just
imagine it. For example people with a thunderstorm phobia can't
exactly book one to happen at a certain time so they can imagine
one. You imagine the worst case scenario and try to hold the image
in your head until your fear dies down.
