I thought I was the only one who had a fear of BIG things - like
Cruise Ships, Blimps, Giant Equipment...The "boat" thing is 100 x
worse if it is OUT of water - I shiver just thinking about it! As a
kid I went on a field trip to The Queen Mary and in the Engine Room
they had a big hole you could stand by and look into at the giant
engine parts and the ANCHORS !! Geez, there was a gigantic anchor that
was hanging against the wall of the ship and my knees got weak. I
think it's the thought of it having been way way down on the bottom of
the ocean before it was there - I don't know.
I had never heard of this before until a couple of years ago on "The
Real World" there was a girl (can't remember her name now) who had
panic attacks around the cruise ships they were working next to on a
smaller boat. I couldn't believe it! (Though her friends were much
more understanding than anyone I've ever told - but it is kinda' funny).
Hey 'Mustard' people - do you have any idea what would cause your fear
of mustard? That's fascinating to me - but I wouldn't tell anyone you
didn't trust 100% - could be disastrous. Good luck.
