Hi! My name is Rita and I have a very unusual fear: I'm afraid of
potatoes that are growing. I'm fine with ordinary potatoes, but when
they get left in a bottom drawer for too long, and start to grow
roots, then I freak out. The longer the root; the more scared I am of
them. My boyfriend found some potatoes that had been forgotten for a
couple of months, and they had roots that were several inches long.
When he showed them to me, I screamed, cowered in the corner,
hyperventilated, and made him take them outside to the trash. I have
no clue why I'm afraid of them, and I'm really curious if any one else
is afraid of the potato.
