My name is Matt Ellerbeck and I do snake conservation projects. One of
the things I wanted to know was why people have such a deep fear of
snakes. I think if I can better understand this I can help people and
snakes live among one another without conflict. I am interested in
talking to open-minded people who do have a fear of snakes. My hope is
not only will I understand better why people fear snakes, but also to
help the people better understand snakes and maybe learn to let their
