Re: [unusualphobias] Fear of Taxidermy

I picked this up late, but stuffed animals is an interesting phobia- I think perhaps it amounts to an irrational fear of eating perhaps--Eg getting stuffed it sounds like a disguised food phobia but . I do psychology at university so can you remeber when you first felt this fear ? was there a scary situation at the time ?
Eg Fixation if you can find the point you became fixated at (everyones included in this) if you accept the emotionaly hurtfull point to make it your own so to speek then the fixation is destroyed and you will be free of the problem ---
Fixation is sigmund froyds work

I'm looking for anybody who is afraid of animals that have undergone
taxidermy. There are a couple people posted on the site as having this
fear but I'd like to actually exchange messages with somebody who
feels the same way. I have never met anybody in real life who shares
this fear or understands how somebody could be afraid of them even
when I explain. Let me know if you're out there.
