Actually, I thought nothing about them till I saw that scary
commercial. That's what started it all with me. I tried to find a Real
Video or Windows Media clip of that commercial to use in some self-
administered exposure therapy, but I only found web pages mentioning
the spot when I googled it, no video clips. I thought maybe if I
played it over and over, first in broad daylight, then working my way
to handling it after dark, I could desensitize myself and overcome my
phobia. That's actually a common method used by psychologists in
combating phobias. But I would risk having it backfire and start
another bout of nightmares. I don't have children yet, but I plan to
have some whenever I get married. Maybe that'll be the way to beat it.
