Hi Mick
I am flying to Florida on Friday and I have an Ileostomy. Since my surgery, I have flown several times to Florida, Ohio and all the way to Alaska. I live in the USA - Midwest.
As Andre noted, bring double of what you think you will need and carry all supplies with you in a carry-on. Don't forget wafer/barriers, eakin seals /paste, etc. for changing. It can be a trick changing standing up in an airjet bathroom, but it can and has been done. I have carried my stoma hole cutter in my carry-on and haven't had problems, but I pack it as I believe they will view it. I pack it so that the cutter part is to the side when the carry-on lays flat.
Remember.. you're in control - don't let your colostomy control you!
Angel hugs and have a fabulous trip!
Tina

One top tip, take double the kit you usually use and all the spares in hand luggage - just in case your baggage goes mssing. I believe airlines will allow extra if you tell them. Don't worry the bag won't inflate with the pressure. I went through all this the first time as well :)Hope this helpsAndre
