The following resolution is adapted from DFL platform for 2004 which
already supports single-payer and other progressive legislation and
principles. The same could be done for Green Party Caucuses (which i
couldn't find on website), and the same basic template can also be
adapted for Republican caucuses, etc. All platforms are completely
consistent with MN UHCAN basic mission (however, if you have strong
objections reply asap). Precinct caucus strategy and resolutions is on
our mtg agenda for monday 7PM mtg, walker church. This is one approach.
Bring or post others that MN UHCAN can issue. Because the Caucuses are
so soon, pls feel free to print this and distribute at your particular
precinct caucus meeting.

What is a “Precinct Caucus” ?
Precinct caucuses are the beginning of the process that the DFL uses
for choosing candidates and the issues the DFL will support in the next
elections. Before the caucus convenes, attendees pass out their
platform resolutions and encourage support for certain candidates and
delegates. You may bring copies of your own resolutions and bring
people who support your positions, so you can identify supporters.
