Thanks Anna, Susie and Tracey for your messages of welcome.? I appreciate it.
I see that there is a lot of inspiring material coming across through this group
and am glad I joined.
Hope I can be of benefit to others.
Has anyone heard of changing to a "raw" diet helping them get over drugs/alcohol
addictions?
Hugs,
Charles

hello charles, and welcome...
I tend to be in withdrawal and silence...
actually I have to force myself to go out lately...
and afterwards I feel wonderful, so I don't know why
I have all this reluctance to participate in life, and
reach out...
great people here... you will love them...
hugs, anna

Hi all,
Just wanted to introduce myself.? I am relatively new to 12 steps brand new to
this group.? I identify myself as being co-dependent among other things.? Part
of my behavior seems to be withdrawal and silence, so I'm trying to get more out
there by joining this group.? My background includes 3 years in a Buddhist
monastery living a very isolated, solitary existence even though in a group
setting, and doing stuff like a mostly solo 6 month bicycle trip across North
America.
I am using the Serenity Bible and am just starting to work on "Breaking Free, A
recovery workbook for facing codependence" by Pia Mellody.
Well, that's my intro.? Thanks for your time.
Have a good day,
Charles,
Napa Valley, CA
