Musings and ponderings on one's HGA

1. The knowledge and conversation of the Holy Guardian Angel (H. G.
A.) is indeed essential for the adept to advance beyond the fluff of
the gross side of unrefined spiritual practice and theory to the
actual attainment of the various perfection's of magickal development.
The Holy Guardian Angel is the ultimate of so called collective
consciousness. Yet it is an actual being with a body, name, etc. The
process of discovering and acquiring the knowledge and conversation is
what is known in Buddhism as the purification of the soul. The
training is disciplining the mind to obey the observing qualities of
the consciousness rather than allowing the mind to lead the seeker.
This is the same process of awareness training used in eastern mind
training. According to His Holiness The Dalai Lama, mind stabilization
training, is the basis for any spiritual work and in being able to
enter into Samadhi as an effortless practice by force of the mind
having been trained and concentration being familiar to the mind. (See
"Opening the Eye of New Awareness," by H.H. The Dalai Lama.)

2. In our pagan cosmology we have heard of the once, twice and three
times born. The once born are not seeing beyond the tips of their own
noses. They do not see the eternal cycle or truth in all things. Nor
do they care about these things. They are like children. "The Book of
the Law," states that we are in the Aeon of the Child. What this in
part means is that the majority of the souls incarnate at this time
are once born who have only recollection of one or two lives, and have
limited knowledge. There is nothing for them to draw upon from their
soul for experience, so they make a lot of mistakes being without
wisdom. Then the twice born are those more in touch with the universal
process and in understand this to be a universe and world controlled
by the gods and goddesses of creation. So they can understand a little
more and lead the once born to wisdom.

3. The thrice born. These are the masters still incarnate in the world
for the sole propose of leading humanity and this whole plane to the
perfection of the spirit. They are nearly beyond return and may leave
when they wish, but they stay because of a past life vow to save all
other beings. They are the ones who turn off the light after the play
has ended and all have gone home.

4. According to Swami Visnu Devananda, student of Swami Sivananda, in
his "Yoga," book, concentration means being able to hold a steady
stream of thought for 12 seconds with no interference. Then meditation
is holding the same stream for 2 and a half-min. with no distraction
or deviation. The "trance" known as samadhi lasts 30 min. This is
uninterrupted focus on a single thing. It is very difficult to attain
as the mind is used to so many varieties of distractions and
deviations from the path to freedom. There are points before Samadhi
of intense anxiety. The mind will attempt to fool the aspirant with
all kinds of inventions. At this point become especially aware of the
practice until this passes. The mind in the form of former
conditioning will resist training in every direction. The point is to
familiarize the mind with the trance of Samadhi so that the four
absorptions may be entered into. The four absorptions are limitless
space, limitless consciousness, nothingness, and the peak of cyclic
existence. Some people may meditate for many hours at a time but the
actual time spent in the absorption is rare until the final training
is achieved. This is forgoing ones own individual knowledge as a
person, distraction of personal belief, isolation, the tendency to
feel withdraw or joy, analysis, and finally the final training is
entering into the absorptions. All of this is based upon being able to
maintain Samadhi. The point of entrance into the Jnanna (perfection)
of Samadhi IS (=) knowledge and conversation with the Holy Guardian
Angel. This is the spiritual attainment common to, yet owned by no one
religion.

5. Most of us must only know that at death we must concentrate our
energies to the third eye, consciously enter the death state. And then
enter to peace so we can be reborn to our own great will, and go where
we will to the fullness of our own great work. Initiation then must be
as complete and perfect a preparation for this state as possible. In
initiation all that the mind thinks that it is, and all of the
conditioned being must be destroyed. The symbolic death used in our
initiatory rituals must be more than reality to leave its impression
upon the aspirant. It is therefore a ritual magickal death invoked
upon the former, outer soul itself, that the adept may remember and
use until the end of the present life, or beyond. Initiation is the
transmutation of the soul into true spiritual gold. All conditioning
is destroyed, and the pure diamond star soul remains. The truth of the
inner being. This is done by months and years of spiritual discipline
and practice and by transference from the adepts

6. According to Patanjali in his "Yoga Sutras," (for a complete
translation with nice commentary see, "Raja Yoga," by Swami
Vivekananda.) the chitta (mind stuff) is what is controlled by
consciousness (prursha, Sanskrit = the knower/Brahman) it is this that
is disciplined and controlled for the purpose of "overcoming death."
Patanjali also bases attainment on being able to stay in samadhi. In
his Yoga Surtas the entire first book is preparation and the second is
the training itself. From the druids we are taught to visualize the
land of eternal youth (tir nan og) and the Sumerians taught to
visualize the "summer land" at the point of death. In both cultures
this practice was accompanied by rolling the eyes up into the head. In
the Hindu Purannas and in Brihandaranyaka sutra it is said that when
one is going to enter to the stages of death it is important to
concentrate the energy upon the third eye wheel (ajna chakra) between
the brows on the forehead. Depending upon the concentration one may
enter to any of the planetary spheres desired. Or by concentration on
the lord beyond creation one may enter to a state beyond the need to
come back again. If Shiva is visualized, or if a Buddhist enters to
Jnanna (meditation state through Samadhi) then it is possible to enter
to the Brahma Jyoti (the formless light at the peak of manifestation
between creation and formless being) and stay absorbed in bliss until
the destruction and recreation of the worlds. The devotees of Lord
Maha Vishnu or the followers of the Pure Land Buddhist sects are
beyond coming back for they go to the Vaikhuntha planes beyond the
worlds of manifest creation. This is done by complete surrender to
truth. The act of completion and perfection of the soul is the end of
the path, causing some to claim that this world is like a school for
the evolution of the soul.

7. The Islamic word jihad means to guard against evil, the devil, and
one's own self. To conquer those things which frighten and lead us
away from our own true inheritance, which is the garden of delight.
And this is possible only by surrender to the divine, the highest of
truths. In the "Koran," it is stated over and over that there will be
a resurrection. The dead will be raised to life again but also that
the physically dead may not return. The process of the divine prayer
is the yoga by which Muslims pursue attainment. in constant surrender
to the will of the divine, always thinking of the divine, etc. This
process is called bhakti yoga in sanskrit. And Crowley also adopts
this attitude in his teachings. The essential philosophy of the Bhakti
process is that one is drawn towards whatever one loves the most. This
concept in fact is universal. Philo and sophy are the Greek words for
love and wisdom, and the root of the word philosophy. The philosophers
are considered wise because they have a love of wisdom. In fact Plato
died with a book under his head. His love for life and quest for
wisdom was one and the same. So by loving the farthest expanse of
truth as divinity, one is attached to the divine as truth. The perfect
and most exalted of truth. Bhakti is even the process encouraged by
"the book of the law." "Do what thou will shall be the whole of the
law." To do one's will, one must discover one's will. "Love is the
law, love under will." In logistics this translates as:
Love = the law. Thelema (will) and agape (love). both Greek words, add
to 93. Nine is three times three. 9 + 3 = 12 and 1 + 2 = 3. Will = law
= love. The divine trinity of Thelema.

8. Reincarnation is based in part upon the principles that the
beginning of consciousness is not produced ceaselessly, nor from
mindless matter. That, as like must recapitulate its likeness
philologically, then conscious mind could not have come from matter
which has no consciousness, nor does mind increase nor decrease with
youth, age, body mass etc. Thus negating toe physical as a condition
of mind. This is apparent in the Dream State. Even when one is sick or
injured, in dreams the mind is in the same state. And further, dreams
in old age may be just as vivid as dreams from childhood. In insects
to elephants the mind remains consistent, barring disease and
physiological perceptive ability, but even in these states there is
still consciousness, even if the brain is in a state of delusion. In
fact those in delusion perceive their state of being as just as valid
and livid as one who is clinically in their right mind. Nor is the
memory or experience of the parents innate in the child, or else the
child would have memories and experiences similar to the parents.
Therefore, mind must come from similar mind separate from
oxologicality, or the biological cause. Therefore the simplest and
most direct explanation is that the mind is generated and transferred
from former momentum created by past experience by similar cause of
mind. And as similar apparent cause of mind is its identical mind, the
only explanation is that present mind must have been generated from
former mind of a like cause even in the case of a new body, i.e. The
mind re-entering the flesh. Also, mind being a form of energy can
neither be created nor destroyed but is instead merely transferred by
the same natural principles governing the rest of the universe.

9. In Japan there is a famous samurai haiku that says, "I do not wish
to live, I do not wish to die. I simply await that time to come." The
samurai understood that, vowing to surrender their life in service of
the emperor, they were dead already, and that whatever were to occur,
even if it killed the body, would not hurt them. Like the attitude of
Socrates at his trial. "You can kill this body, but you can not hurt
me." In initiation the adept overcomes death by dying. By surrendering
to the forces of the universal process and thus allowing for the true
adventure to begin. This wonderful life of inexhaustible possibilities
lived with no fear. Then by perfecting ones own constitutional
position in regards to the rest of the universe one stands in harmony
like the master boatman on the sea of existence. Able to harness the
winds of the forces of the universe, to go where one will, in
understanding of the laws governing such forces. Non-killing, non
stealing, truthful, sober, and complete in one's self, able to ride
the tides of time itself in harmony with the rest of creation. It
seems these are some of the appearances of such a being.

(To lie about attainment strips one of all former attainment)

HGA

OKAY, this is a tough one. And please understand that my explanation
is my own, from my own experience. Even though similar are cited in
texts pertaining to such. Internal or external? Well, not really
either. Yes it is to me an actual entity that can be evoked just as
any other being in the universe can be evoked. And as a universal
truth, is the same in all places at all times. And trying not to vomit
the words of others and call it original, the H.G.A., like any other
being, is planetary, elemental but as we are warned in the quest for
attainment, any and all beings to god itself will attempt to deceive
and make itself out to be mere important than it actually is. And as
with evocation great care must be taken ... blah blah blah... when
evoking blah... okay. But knowledge and conversation? That state of
the mind focused and trained on a single point for a period of time
with no distraction from the mind. One pointed focus, like the tip of
a blade. And this can be done on emptiness. This, according to
Patanjali, is key to absorbing into Brahma, becoming immortal. But the
mind is continuing. Its focus is simply on emptiness. It is this
ability that allows pureness of perception and is absolutely necessary
for attainment. And according to Parashara, it is this Siddha
(perfection of practice) upon which all other Siddhas are built. And
Patanjali, that this is the practice all yogis use to perform their
miracles. Astral projection, reading past lives, walking on water,
etc. all stem from the various levels of perfecting this state.

How is this dangerous? If I have a will to evolve beyond the present
incarnation during this lifetime then I may take up yoga, or magick. I
do so with no former knowledge of the subject and have no idea that my
fears will be faced, that I will be challenged in every way possible
and that every being will attempt to sway me from my path. And I have
no idea that the false ego that has been built over the course of many
lifetimes is about to be smashed into the nothing from whence it came.
Knowing what true freedom is, how many would willingly choose it,
especially if they knew it meant giving up the comfort and complicity
of the ego, and that all safety nets were gone?

Thoughtforms:

Obedience does not mean performing instructions
provided, it is acts of one wishing to fulfill the reason of their
creation. this is not an ego thing. the work done by "beings" we
create then non fulling don't use ego, don't use what religion has
done to the earth by telling them what they should do rather than
finding their purpose. disobedience is "not finding you purpose." so
an obedient spirit will act in accord to doing the work assigned to it
through you by your essence.

this seems a metaphoric anomaly by the magickian trying to solve the
mystery of itself by using lesser will control, but within the context
of "HGA" programing it works.

HGA: There is not Allah as a separate universe, there is not a
universe and a separate God. The eternal truths which replay again and
again throughout every culture time and place are the many faces of
the gods. Jung called them archetypes. Plato called them ideas. The
idea or archetype of the chair is not the chair itself but there are
many chairs. There are many people and many gods. The Magi are those
who strengthen in balance all of these phenomena within their being,
healing at all levels. That is why the witch is called the servant of
the life force. By moving into balance one becomes free of many
things. Balance means strengthening all the archetypes equally. This
is one of the reasons we are encouraged to strengthen our minds
through meditation. By living in the moment one becomes free of
worries from the past or anxieties about the future. By training our
minds to focus on a single point indefinitely we have a useful tool
for self awareness. In fact, the knowledge and conversation with the
holy guardian angel, is said to be, by Crowley, the equivalent of
Samadhi, or single pointed effortless awareness. Crowley himself spent
years training in Buddhist meditation. His golden dawn initiator,
Allen Bennett, went to Sri Lanka to become a monk and trained Crowley
in Vipasana, or Buddhist insight meditation.

Oneness to a Sufi is Achad, the One. It is the total essenceof one
everything physical. But also taught by the Christ as the one
spiritual, "the kingdom is within you."

Jesus said to the lawyers, "you have taken away the key of knowledge
and have hindered the way to the kingdom." talking to those who
argue, you can never understand the bing who created the universe by
depending on data created by the five senses.

Go to the higher always, the frequencies created by the mind is above
the world. The mission of the demon (Jinn) is to keep people from
understanding God by providing religion. Their mission is absolutely
amazing. You take away the key by keeping people from entering within
themselves and keeping away to finding the infinite universal GOD.

Reincarnation is a difficult subject for many of western upbringing
because of the apparent embrace of the Judaic/Christian cultures
denial of reincarnation. The facts are that many Hebrew thinkers do
embrace the doctrine and find no conflict with the Tanak or Kabala,
and early Christianity until around 500 E.V. taught reincarnation when
it was made a heresy. It would be difficult to accept or deny
reincarnation when it is a question of acceptance without examination
of the principles upon which it is based.

One tends to go with ones upbringing for answers. Reincarnation is
based in part upon the principles that the beginning of consciousness
is not produced ceaselessly, nor from mindless matter. That as like
must recapitulate its likeness philological (by the child), then
conscious mind could not have come from matter nor does mind increases
nor decreases with youth, age, body mass etc. In insects to elephants
it remains consistent barring disease and physiological (bodily)
perceptive ability. Nor is the memory or experience of the parents
innate in the child, therefore mind must come from similar mind,
separate from oxologicality (parents). Therefore the simplest and most
direct explanation (Occam's razor is all things being equal the
simplest explanation is the correct one) is that mind is generated and
transferred from former momentum created by past experience, i.e.
re-entering the flesh. Also in that mind being a form of energy and
therefore can neither be created nor destroyed, and because
consciousness is a consistent phenomenon, mind must be a consistent
phenomenon.

1. If mental awareness depends on the body, then the mind is nature of
the body, like beer and its capacity to intoxicate.
2. If mind is nature of the body, then mind is like a light and its lamp.
3. If mind is a quality of the body, then it is like a wall and its
mural painted on it.

Even now as adults we remember states of mind from, last year and the
year before that and so forth. Our own direct experience is a result
of earlier continuum from earlier experiences. In the same way the
beginning of consciousness in this life was not produced ceaselessly,
nor from mindless matter, nor from something permanent. [If it were it
would be a substantial cause of dissimilar type. It must be a
substantial cause of similar type.]

With regard to the type of effect is similar to the cause as in this
case, the mind of the new life itself is a sentience or awareness that
is a factor of luminosity and knowing, it must have been produced from
a similar cause. That former mind must therefore be not suitable to be
anything but a mind produced in an earlier lifetime. Otherwise, if the
elements acted as cause the faults would be corpses having
consciousness or consciousness enhancing or deteriorating.

If something does not have space it does not become space and space
itself does not become non-space. No factor of the parents' body or
mind becomes the mind of the child in this life.

The actual fact is this: the mind that comes from the former life acts
as substantial cause of the mind of the present life. The parents'
semen and blood become substantial cause for the body. The action
between the two is produced by an action (karma) from a former life.

One can understand man and the universe only by understanding himself
(ultimate reality of being in place of perfect work, otherwise service
is in vain.

I found my HGA as a monk and had to leave from the temple because i
saw who i was like sirus shining in the dawn on Dec 21st. sirus was
followed by three kings, the three stars of the belt of orion. the sun
died for three days. (did not move.) it moved one degree north on dec
25th as Thoth said it would. He came with the clouds with his veil of
thorns (sun rays) and was the risen Osiris. he hung on Anafx, the four
stars forming a cross where into he rose. He was the redeemer in my
deep meditative state i was able to observe.

Truth is universal and infinite, confusion comes in trying to force it
to the flesh, like a priest with his wafer. Come magick, you are this
body now.
