the following is a response from Bear (who used to flood the list with
insults and some good points against the skeptics). I am not aware of the
new moderator John being offensive.

i note the following:

the article arbitrarily imposes an alpha value that would not be
routinely used in biomedical research

the article refers to the subject alternatively as a touch practitioner
and a therapeutic touch practitioner and draws a conclusion about TT
without ever demonstrating that the tested subject is a tt
practitioner.

unlike scientific studies, there are no references in this 'article'.

how odd it is that you put up this nonsense and yet fail to put up, for
example, my recent rebuttal of sarah glazer's articles on TT in nursing
philosophy.

is this really the level of fairness and discussion you wish to
promote?

seems to me that john was way more offensive than i ever was and
brought the personal attack to a far cruder level than I ever did - yet
you decided to let him become the moderator?
