Hello,
Thank you for making this group.
Our eight month old daughter was born premature on July 9 of this
past year and diagnosed a month later as having partial trisomy 9q,
partial monosomy 21.
The geneticists don't seem to know very much about this disorder. In
her last visit, they said that they don't believe that the material
on the 21st chromosome was either important or deleted. She shows
actually no signs of partial monosomy 21.
I was wondering what other information we might find on this
disorder. Sophia has none of the congenital heart or lung problems
associated with trisomy 9.
She does have bad reflux, weighs a bit over 10 lbs now (is that
failure to thrive?), has a bit of a beak nose, big ears (but so do I -
GRIN), and a bit of a recessed chin.
Where is the best place that we might find more information on this
disorder?
