Last night on Last Comic Standing. One of the Comedianne's, Tammy
Pescatelli told the eventual winner that he "Had as much sex appeal
as Corky From Life Goes On" Last Season, on My Name Is Earl, the
character Joy called Earl's brother Corky. I realize that one of the
stars of the NBC show Scrubs has a child with down syndrome.
However, there is now a pattern of NBC having shows on which it has
been considered appropriate to make fun of people with down syndrome
by taking pot shots of the character Corky. I went to the link below
and voiced my disappointment in these two instances and invited NBC
to promote the National Down Syndrome Society or to have a "Now You
Know" segment about it. One voice will probably be ignored. Please
