Do you know about the 6 chakras within the human body? The sexual body would be connected with the 2nd chakra, which is in the abdomen. Some say that the front of the body is the end that projects the energies out and the back of the body is the end that receives the energies.
And yes, the "observer" mode is a common experience for people when they transition into a higher state of consciousness, I'd say. I had a pretty strong experience, and still do from time to time.
As for me, I've had a lot of experiences I'm reading about. They just weren't put into these new terms that "time travelers" use. I've always related to the experiences in some sort of mystical and/or religious experience. So please bear with me if I use any religious terms from time to time. I've got to learn some new vocabulary. haha.
