A person can build around themself meaningless diversions, or escapes.
Then, after living all those repeated days, finally understand they
were deluded, and wish to their souls that they had done one thing
during their life. Then they think about their friends, and are
usually like: "I wish I would have kept my promises," or "Do I even
have any friends?" These types of things are rampant in our
society: substance abuse, all types of whoredoms, when the person
realizes what he/she was giving up..
There is a "busy-ness" that consumes lives, that's not necessarily
Business: that is basically accomplishing things in the world, like
there isn't Business in Never-Neverland, but none of us actually live
on some mystical island, to my knowledge. I'm all for devoting ones
time to getting stuff done in a real mind and meditation, and all
professionals understand, i think, that distraction actually works
against the meditation you are pursuing. I think that is well enough
said.
