Dear Y'All-

Curtis and I are both card-carrying members of AA and soemtimes I talk to him off-board about those issues.  Recently he responded to one of my questions--something about whether alkies can get into Heaven, no doubt--and i tink his advice to me is somehtin gthat might be of use to some of the rest of the gang.

Hope this is okay with you, Big C.

As always,

Edith

Dear Edith,

I agree, so far, it is a little vague as to what exactly we do or not do in order to pass unscathed through the 2012 time barrier.

I feel personally, that if I stick close to AA principles, I can't go too far wrong; they have gotten me this far, (28 years next month.)

If the Fallen Ones, who are not alcoholics could learn about and use the 12 steps, perhaps that is all they would need, especially the turning of one’s life and will over to the care of God, as they understand God.

I feel the main detriment to passing through the 2012 time barrier is self-will, and the desire to finish earthly projects and fulfill unfinished dreams; even a secret desire to return to our former glory in Atlantis, where we were sexual Gods and Goddesses, with the people worshiping us unconditionally; enjoying unlimited power on every level, and manifesting unequaled beauty beyond compare.

It is worse than a powerful drug on which we have been long hooked. "No human power could have restored us to sanity."

As long as we hang on to how wonderful, powerful, advanced, and all of the things we have dragged here from our previous lifetimes and accomplishments, the more likely we will sink by the weight of our own egos.

There is, as far as I can tell, no Big Man in the sky, who passes judgment, and says whether we can pass or not. It is strictly up to us. Like passing through a metal detector in the airport, if we are loaded with guns and knives, we won't get through, and unless we are willing to let go of our precious lifetimes, then we won't get through the time barrier either. It is as simple as that!

It, to me, is rather simplistic, probably far too simple for most Fallen TTOs who thrive on complication and the resulting drama. This is probably why the simple folk, the billions of unwashed average people will easily pass through the 2012 time barrier, because they are uncomplicated. They carry little baggage, and set off no alarms when the pass.

Thanks,

Curtis
