Re: [Time-Travelers] Multiple worldlines

Hello to the whole group. I am a new member, happy to here, and this is my first reply to anything so please bear with me if i am totally off whack!

I didn't read Curtis' meassge but pjdk from what you say the answer lies in your own question. We can't be same person in the different elements of the multiverse the logic being Curtis' daughter in one universe was someone to whom an accident happened at a young age. In a parallel universe she was a daughter to whom no accident happened at a young age. logic therefore dictates that the two daughters are not identical.

As for what determines which universe we live in, don't we live in them all ? I believe your question is why does one 'particular you' live in one 'particular universe' and I have no idea as to the answer but if we exist in all parallel universe does it really matter?

Another interesting aspect of this question is if Curtis 'A' made the mental jump from Universe 'A' to the parallel universe 'B' did he exist as Curtis 'A' on universe 'B', and if so what impact did that have on Curtis 'B' and the existence in the same spacetime of two Curtis' , or when jumping does this affect an automatic displacement/exchange of Cutis 'B' to Universe 'A' to keep the equilibrium?

My first stab at a reply, wish you all well and hope to have greater insight with time spent in the group, nice to be here guys and girls.

Hi Curtis! (or anyone who might have insight into this?)

So I remember one of Curtis's old messages talking about multiverse
theory (aka parallel universes). Curtis, you used the example of a
tragic accident happening to your daughter at a young age, but you
were able to mentally jump to a parallel universe where this incident
did not occur.

My question is... What determines which universe you "live" in? And
are we -- for all intents and purposes -- exactly the same person in
all universes? I.e. Is my brother in universe-A completely indentical
(in terms of 'who' he is) as my brother in universe-B? or is there
some inner trait that distinguishes between universe A and B? (and C
and D and E etc.)

Cheers!
Pierre

My belief is that we are all exactly the same originally, and the only changes between us come from different outcomes and events in our lives. So, even if I...
