Hello Ladies,My name is Lanae, I am a Divorced 37-year old mom of a 19,17,15,9,5
year
old.I survived 5 births i can surely survive this,thru the grace of God. Well.I
start Chemo for
stage 1 cancer in my left breast on Tues. 2/19/08. I'm sending the 5 y/o to stay
with the ex
for now, The two oldest work full time and go to school. My 15 y/o son goes to
school then
boxing lessons afterwards. The 9 y/o attends media club and dance class
mon-thurs at her
school which is right around the corner from home. I have a couple of people in
my corner
such as my two best friends and my aunt;both parents diseased and I'm an only
child, so this
will definitely be a journey for me. I'm a survivor of many things in my life
such as 2 drug
addicted parents and having to; with the grace of God, survive practically
raising my self in
these streets. I turned all those trials into triumphs i raised and am raising
5 phenomenal
young people,they are all progressive,career minded,tremendously intelligent,and
goal
oriented. They have superseded all and more of my expectations. I talk about
them so
intently because outside of myself, these are the people that will be motivating
me and
driving me to the Chemo finish line. May we all Win!!! I welcome any
