TANZi is a patient-to-patient support group set up to increase awareness of the prevalence of thyroid problems and the difficulties facing patients in getting a diagnosis and appropriate treatment.
We do not charge a membership fee, and the information in our files and links is available free of charge.
Thyroid patients are desperately seeking an understanding and partnership with their doctors to get the best treatment possible.
We believe that every person has the right to be healthy and symptom-free and the right to a treatment plan that works for them

We feel it is time for the medical profession to amend the current protocol regarding the treatment of thyroid disorders, particularly hypothyroidism.
