Welcome to the thrombosis group. This is a supportive group for people who suffer from or who know people who are suffering from vascular problems such as blood clots, Deep Vein Thrombosis, varicose veins, phlebitis, and pulmonary emboli.

POLLS: We're trying to compile a list of common (though "unofficial") side effects of warfarin therapy and the age that people were when first diagnosed. Please stop by and record your Coumadin/warfarin side effects in the Coumadin poll and your age at diagnosis in the age poll. There are other interesting polls there so check them out while you're there (and if you have a good idea for a new poll, send a message to Motsa, the forum moderator).

We're also trying to compile a database of the type of hormones thrombosis sufferers were on when they got their clots. If you are a woman who was on the Pill or HRT when you were diagnosed, please stop by the Pill database and record what brand of medication you were on at the time.
