Re: Other health problems...

I was diagnosed with TTP in 1989 when I was 14.  I was pretty sick as a child but the TTP was a shocker. I had epiglottitis at like 6 and was always sick with something. With the TTP  I didn't really show too many symptoms after my initial diagnosis, every time afterwards was pretty much only discovered through monthly blood tests.  Also I was dianosed with Lupus (SLE) and rheumatoid arthritis five years ago.  I also was diagnosed with gastroperesis and aquagenic pruritus about 3-4 years ago.  I got osteonecrosis and osteoporosis after a couple years on prednisone and has to have 3 surguries...Two to try to help alleviate the pain of the necrosis and a third to replace part of my left shoulder.  I have also had pulmonary embolisms, ovarian cysts, shingles a couple of times and just a myriad of other problems.  I'm doing okay right now, which is such a relief.  Keep your fingers crossed for me!  LOL
