If it's painfull and you can't stand it, then have them removed. I'm
a lot better, I'm not in pain any more and I can move my neck better,
but my arm is still weak. The doc didn't take out the whole thing,
just an inch or two in front. It took him 4 hours. My ribs are (were)
very big, that's probably why the operation helped. So the operation
is good, but don't expect to be 100% normal.... The doc should take
it out via your neck *not* through your armpit.
