Re: [Thoracic Outlet Syndrome] New person to the group

HEllo! Yes.. I would highly Recommend Dr. Bennet to you... He is a
Strictly a pain Doctor.... Dr. Annest of the Vascular Institute of
the Rockies set up an appointment for me to go see him while I was
down there for a bunch of testing.... I am not sure exactly what
the procedure were called that he did to me... but one he bathed my
nerve in my left arm with anesthetic.. which paralyzed my arm for
the day. This side actually is still a lot better than it use to
be... so I think that worked a little better than the other. My
right arm he injected steroids into my scalene muscles. Lately I
have been having more problems with spasms in my chest and arm
area.. so he is suggesting we try botox (sp??) injections instead
because they work more on spasms... I guess?? that is what he has
told me... Dr. Bennet is a very good pain management surgeon... I
trust him very much and would recomment that you talk to him because
he would probably have some suggestions for you. I hope you figure
something out. Thanks for the encouragement!!! I appreciate it a
lot.. It is very hard for me to be this young with something like
this because I just want to be able to do what other college
students are able to do.. but my pain definitely limits things! I
am sure you totally understand this... Well I hope you get relief
somehow, and I will be praying for you and that you get that
miracle!!! It is very possible... Thanks, Lizzi
