Just a FYI , 2 yrs ago 3 Dr.s diagnosed TOS, the pain thru arm and shoulder
were unbearable, after undergoing a 7 day hospital (and dangerous heperin
drip)stay for what they thought was a possible blood clot that theywould even
put
a stent (in the plexus venous system ) After the dye injected Xray(even before
any blood thinners were given to me )showed normal/nothing -I thought OK i
will just have the this first rib taken out. The pain was unbearable
To make my long story short I asked my thoracic surgeon, could he please do
an MRI of my rotary cuff shoulder area -just to make sure (he said probably
nothing will show at all but knew emotionally i might feel better )
**It turned out I had massive tearing in my rotary cuff that did not exhibit
the usual symptoms because my joints are very loose by nature, also this
tearing caused scar tissue to adhere the shoulder tendon area to my Trapezes
muscles, which explained and finally made sense to the PT -I had been goin to
for
the year!*** God bless all on this site
I had 3 tiny inscions -othroscopy surgery done and 3 months later i was pain
free now 2 yrs later still pain free! ---it seems like they don't like to
order MRI's anymore but it saved my life , and 1st rib literally
just my story doen't appy to most but may help even one here
my first main symptom was a blue venous pattern popping out from my chest to
right arm after a car accident and tremedous pain radiating from neck acroos
