Hello all,
I will attempt to answer all of the questions of the emails....
I went to physical therapy early, after the car accident. My pain
was acute, so pt really didn't help me. I struggled for a long time
to get the pain to subside. I met with Peter Edgelow, who at the
time was dealing with, I think, congestive heart problems, and he
told me he felt that tos was far worse than anything he was
personally dealing with. What a statement.
Anyway, I showed him my left ankle, which is obviously swollen with
nerve fluid. It collects at my ankle when I have been on my feet for
a while. Mind you, this is not just water. I have had a doctor at
Stanford University tell me this is nerve fluid. Anyway, when I
have a flare up, my pain starts on the left side of my face, and
travels down my arm, chest, to my leg and foot.
There are times I feel overwhelmed with the pain, and disability,
but reading what you all are going through really humbles me. You
are all so brave.
