Re: [Thoracic Outlet Syndrome] tos and me

hi, thanks for the response, i'm sure my swimming aggravates me a bit, but its
the only exercise besides walking i can still do, so im not going to give it
up..fortunately i have been careful on the meds so far, just wondering if this
will get better over time or not..

Hi Tim,
sounds like you've got it pretty rough.
My tos is on my left side, involving my leg as well as my arm, and
hand. My face and neck have a lot of pain, too. I got off pain
killers almost 3 years ago. My addiction was pretty advanced, and
this caused more pain. any way, the only thing I take is ibuprofen,
and then on a full stomach.

My pain is much less than it was, but I have to be really careful
about what I do..know my limits. I cannot really swim, the pulling
motion would flare me up for sure. But, I have gotten in pretty
good shape, sort of working out, and that has helped too.

Catherine
