Hi all,
I haven't posted on here for a while now so I'll just re-cap my situation.
I was diagnosed with right side Venous TOS and had a first rib resection in
December last year. I am still recovering, I have regular physio but while
I still get pain my blood flow is normal and I am happy that I had the
surgery.
Now I have started having symptoms on my left side that are new. My left
hand keeps swelling up and going a bluish colour, and I get agonising pains
in my shoulder. This is how the TOS started on the right side and I am
really worried that I may now have it on both sides. Is this common? Is it
likely that I would need surgery on this side too?
I am due to see my surgeon in three weeks for my final check up about my
right side TOS so want to be prepared for what he might say about my left
side symptoms.
Any help or advice is much appreciated.
Thanks,
Hayley
