Hi I have a few yrs on you, I was diagnosed fifteen
yrs ago. I think I may be able to help you get some
sleep, have you tried using wrist splints at night?
You may have to try a few different types. It seems
it allows the nerves in the hands and arms to rest, it
just takes a while to accept them. Look at
imakproducts.com, this guy seems to understand the
problem, he is a hand surgeon. I also am a side
sleeper. I find if i use a pillow to support my arm,
it helps. I still need to take a sleeping pill at
times, I save that for the days I dont need to be
coherent the next day, I have trouble with carry over
with most meds. The best med I have found for
sleeping is a muscle relaxant. The sleep isnt long,
but its refreshing. I also take acetamenophin, 1000
mgs. at night ocassionally. It sounds silly, but it
does better for me than opiates.
