Subject: TOS and General

Hi There ,

I have had TOS now for 1,5 years when it has really bothered me .I am sure
I had symptoms prior to it but it did not bother my every day life . I had a
left rib resection in August of last year. I still go for physio on a fairly
regular basis about twice or 3 times a moth depending on the flair ups . My
physio mainly works on my neck and shoulder area where I see her .

I have been put on an excersize programme by her which I do at least 5 ties
a week and it takes me about 20-30 minutes every time . I find that the pain
his a short while after doing an action which my body does not like . I
still get head aches a few times a week . It has effected my nerves and
blood vessels .Currently while typing my left hand is ice cold and my left
collar bone pulls..

I have great difficulty sleeping on either side as I have have TOS on my
left and right hand side . If I do for a short while ( 2 - 3 minutes ) , I
start getting terrible pins and needles . To date I have found No medication
which helps at all . I have been trying to get my life back in order and
even light gardening aggravates everything after a short while .

I still to date have not found anyone in Cape Town who understands the
condition 100% .

All I can say is thank goodness for this group it seems to keep me sane .

Chow for now
