Hi Paul,
I would say it is definately early days for you yet. I am three months down the
line now from my op and still not fully recovered, I have gone through periods
of intense frustration that things aren't improving any faster but my surgeon
told me that it will take time. At the two week point you're at you'll still be
suffering pain from the surgery so it would be too early to know whether the op
has been successful or not.
I'm learning that with this surgery you just have to give it time.
Hope things start improving for you soon,
Hayley

Subject: [Thoracic Outlet Syndrome] Post op blues
Hi there guys, Two weeks have passed since my rib op, still not
feeling the benefits. Still got bad headaches and shoulder pain. Am
feeling a little worried that the surgery has not not worked. Is it
still early days. Has anyone who has suffered mainly with
headaches, had the op and recovered with time. Or do you usualy feel
the benifits straight away??? any advice would be helpfull..
Paul. U.K
