Hi Paul ,
I had my op in August 2003 . I was also told that I would feel the benefits
straight away and did not . I was off work for quite a while . I still go
for physio once a month and I have in the past tried the chiropractic route
which did no seem to help much.
The ergonomics side of things post op I have found very important .
My physio therapist Has put me on an excersize programme which I have been
doing daily since early Jan . I find it gives me quite a bit of relief .
My head ache paid has gone . My main problem is my wrist on the side they
did my op .
Hang in there and be patient . Things seem to take unfortunately than one
expects .

Subject: [Thoracic Outlet Syndrome] Post op blues
Hi there guys, Two weeks have passed since my rib op, still not
feeling the benefits. Still got bad headaches and shoulder pain. Am
feeling a little worried that the surgery has not not worked. Is it
still early days. Has anyone who has suffered mainly with
headaches, had the op and recovered with time. Or do you usualy feel
the benifits straight away??? any advice would be helpfull..
Paul. U.K
