Re: [Thoracic Outlet Syndrome] New Here

Welcome to the group. I was a medical transcriptionist. I have been through
the
entire ordeal of not being able to return to my occupation, work comp, voc
rehab,
social security, voc rehab. I got TOCS (work related) in 1996. Since then I
have been
attending college part time and ... I am not sure where I will end up. Many of
us are
in the same boat.
I was not a surgical candidate and I did finally find a PT that did help. You
were
probably born with an extra cervical rib on the left and did not know it, until
...
just make sure you have a good M.D. and a correct diagnosis. I am not sure how
they
treat that, or if they can. We did have a member that had extra cervical ribs
on both
sides but I think she has left the group. Welcome and know, you are not alone
we all
live with constant pain and some days are better than others. Welcome

=====
Cathy
