Hello,
I want to assure you that the rib resection surgery can be a helpful
and hopeful thing!
Both my kids when they hit their growth spurt at puberty began getting
awful arm pain-diagnosed as TOS because they have cervical ribs-extra
ribbone up in the neck..as do i, their mother.
I am actually considering this surgery for myself now that i have
chronic neck symptoms. I am glad to have a very experienced surgeon
closeby. the recovery is not fun, have button front shirts handy, and
prepare to sleep in a recliner for at least a couple weeks. You'll be
better off a few months down the road.
All the best to you,
~Robin
