Jennifer,
I can share that my daughter had at least four blood clots in her subclavian
vein before being diagnosed. She had her first rib removed. Unfortunately, after
all the pain and 4 (or more) stays in the Pediatric ICU, the vein was too far
damaged to ever again function properly. It has been over a year since the
surgery, and she has by all accounts a permenent blood clot in the subclavian
vein.
I would be interested to hear your experience with the blood clots, and I will
be happy to answer any questions about our experience. I'm not sure what else we
can do for her.

Yes I have had them several times.Including in my lungs. The rib
resection has so far proven to me that all the pain was well worth
it.But.. I am experencing a few other problems since. Not sure if they
are related but I feel that it is.
