Jill,
Thanks for the food info on fibromyalgia.I think many people have fibromyalgia
with TOS that dont even know it. I didnt know about chocolate or coffee
worsening it since I just found i have fibro. Ttoo bad I'm a chocolate and
coffee junkie. I always have noticed an increase in pressure point pain with
coffee although never knew it was proven. Do you know if thats just with you,
the effects or alot of fibro sufferers?
Just to share I am happy that my attorney for my case, for my workers comp.,
regarding my TOS has decided to reopen my case and is asking for more benefits
for me even though my case is settled. I never expected this. So now I guess
because surgery is about to be planned the authorization has to go through. I
dont think I will be able to choose my own Dr. though the Dr.s so far have been
well known and experienced in my TOS issues. I am curious if anyone here has any
experiences of first rib-resection they can share with me like ,What was the
over all experience like, pain during and after surgery and how are you know?
Also wondering if anyone here has TOS on both sides. I am the only one so far
with TOS on both sides I am aware of. I have more pain on the left though. Hope
everyone is enjoying the summer. We had an earthquake last night that rocked us
pretty good for only a 4.4. It felt like a volcano erupting under our apartment
and everything started to move and rattle.
The sliding door sounded like they were about to pop off. Good thing it wasnt
the big one out here. Well hopefully thats all the shaking, that all I can
handle. Now do I have an emergency plan? I will now.

Hello Everyone. I also have TOS and fibromyalgia. I was diagnosed with fibro
about 10 years ago. TOS diagnosis was just a few months ago.
I always have slight muscle pains and certain pressure points, but my
Fibromyalgia can be controlled by not eating chocolate, caffeine, cherries etc.
I
find that if I am having an extremely bad day, it is often related to what I ate
the day before.
Just thought I'd mention it.
Take care,
Jill
