I am *not* a follower of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson, however I
have found some great pearls of wisdom in his books. One of the things
he wrote was, "If mentioning my name will help the other person accept
[these moral values] then mention it. If the other person is likely to
reject them because of my name, then don't mention it." In other words,
it was spreading his message that was important to him, not his personal
glory. He was happy to spread his message anonymously.

I have a lot of respect for the achievements of CCHR, but it could do
even more if it had no ties with Scientology. CCHR probably could not
exist without Scientology's financial support, but it could accomplish a
lot more if this support were given discreetly.
