Rebecca Dresser stated: "We could develop alternative social
controls—some sort of system of civil commitment." She's not a very
original thinker. We've had such a system for 250 years.
I overlooked who it was that said, "The state would be in charge of
administering therapies rather than punishments." The state, I presume,
would never be sick?
As to "brain scans indicating higher risk for antisocial behavior" I
wish to point out that psychiatry always has been science fiction.
