As Matt has noted, this is really well put, MIra. To generalize it -
"Socialized health care in any country makes each person's body everyone
else's business". This obviously leads to others - individually or
collectively - dictating to each individual how s/he is to treat/care
for hir own body. This idea needs to sit and percolate in the minds of
all who are pushing for this type of arrangement. If everyone really
took the time to consider all the implications of this I think that the
numbers of supporters for "universal health care" (US euphemism for
socialized health care) would drop considerably.

comment above and my generalization of it as a comment to the article
